I had a client that needed more than one person to be copied on faxes received by their SBS 2003 server in their email. I had email Microsoft on this issue, but the SBS expert that responded thought I was talking about something else. So, I set the issue aside to be answered at a later date.
I connected with the client today regarding another issue, and decided to try an experiment. I added 2 email addresses into the email address field, separated by a semicolon. The test fax went to both mail boxes! Hurray!
I know that some of you will say
Use a distribution list!I did try a distribution list, but something wasn't right.

Ken,
Ran into your site through the smallbizIT Yahoo Group. I would love to know how you got this to work. I have the exact same situation on an SBS 2003 network beloging to one of my clients. When I try adding the second email address in the "Inbound Fax Routing" setup page of the fax setup wizard, it does not allow me to type a semicolon. SBS give me a balloon pop-up claiming that I am typing an illegal character than cannot be used for an email address.
Any help would be appreciated. Perhaps this feature went away with the Exchange SP2 updates? I am wondering.

Richard,
If you go through the "Configure Fax Service" wizard, you cannot type the semicolon.
If you drill down through "Devices and Providers->Devices->{modem name}->Incoming Methods", double-click on "Route through email", and click the "E-mail" tab, you can type multiple email addresses in there with a semicolon separating them.
Good luck!
Ken, excellent! Thanks very much. I had never even noticed that you could drill down in that fax area.
